This is a special book to me. Okay okay, all of my books are special to me. But there’s something about Sarah’s adventure and the challenge of writing this book that makes me cherish it all the more.

I’m excited for you to experience this story for the first time! I hope it makes you laugh (and cry). I hope it makes you want to eat a doughnut because doughnuts are delicious (please send pictures). But mostly, I hope this adventure entertains, that it takes you far from whatever troubles you may have in this reality so you can explore the fantastical reality with Sarah.

Turns out, heaven has a return policy better than Costco. And souls are terribly expensive. If she doesn’t win the forthcoming contests, she is to be flushed back to the Primordial Sea of Souls, back to the Cycle to eventually be reincarnated as whatever the RNG gods have in store for her. A slug, most likely.
