Unfortunately, until my genius plan has come to fruition, I’m forced to use this section to notify you of book releases, free stories, updates, sales, and other newsworthy items.

You are venturing on a quest behind the scenes whenceforth creativity lemons are squeezed. In other words, this is where I dig into the nitty-gritty of my stories. We’re talking about game mechanics, world-building, characters, and what inspires me to write such tales. There may even be a few secrets or interesting tidbits.

I have passionately studied the art and craft of writing for decades. My walls are covered in index cards that contain notes from hundreds of books. I probably look a bit unhinged. I’m opinionated and stubborn, but I probably know a thing or two that can help you improve, even if you don’t agree with all of my madness.

Genres, especially niche genres, can be hard to define. Everyone has their own opinion of what makes a GameLit or Xianxia book in those respective genres. I’ll use this section to dig into these genres and share my thoughts. My goal is to remove confusion where possible and help the genres grow.

I have opinions! So many opinions. . . . As a writer, I feel it’s important to subject my brain to the chaos of the world. This is where fun new characters and ideas come from. But it also means I’m constantly learning and developing opinions on things. I shall write about them here!

Writing, narrating, painting, and everything else I pursue in the name of creativity sure does take a chunk of time and effort to make any noteworthy progress. This is where I bring you along and let you see how things are going: my thoughts, my plans, my failures, and—hopefully, a lot of—my successes.

You know, after you work with some of the quirkiest characters—telling their stories—you’re bound to find some quotable moments. It’s my attempt to share a little more behind the quotes, dig into where the words came from, what inspired them, and other general thoughts. In a way, this is like a sub-category of Behind the Scenes.

I’m a big-time consumer of all things entertaining and educating. I listen to audiobooks, read non-fiction, play video games and board games, watch anime and live-action, and have a near unhealthy addiction to educational resources.
